Hi everyone,
I recently upgraded to a high-end gaming laptop (Intel i7 + RTX 4070) and noticed that during extended gaming sessions, the CPU and GPU temperatures spike quickly, causing noticeable thermal throttling. I’ve tried basic solutions like keeping the laptop on a flat surface and cleaning the vents, but it’s still happening.
I’m wondering if anyone here has experience with more advanced ways to reduce thermal throttling without voiding warranties. For example, are external cooling pads actually effective, or is undervolting a better approach for long gaming sessions?
I’d really appreciate detailed advice, especially from people who have successfully managed to maintain high performance during intensive use.
Thanks in advance! ragdoll hit
